Route 6 Camping Information

July 4 - 8, 2019

Camping is 19 + - NO EXCEPTIONS.
*All campers are required to have a 3 day festival weekend pass


 

What to bring:

  1. Two forms of ID - everybody needs 2 valid forms.of ID to check-in to the campgrounds.

  2. Dress for the weather.

  3. Proof of purchase on your mobile device. A screenshot of your confirmation email is acceptable, saves trees!

  4. All campers are required to have a 3 day festival weekend pass

  5. Your smile and positive vibes :) 


Reminder:

  • Reservation changes must be made 14 days prior to event

  • The order must be under the name of the person who arrives at check-in.

  • You MUST have at least a 3-DAY Cavendish Beach Music Festival Ticket purchased through Unity Travel or Eventbrite to be admitted to the campground.

  • Festival tickets are NOT included with a camping package.

  • There is a MAXIMUM of 4 people per campsite. If your group exceeds that number, please purchase an additional campsite.

  • Power and water are NOT available at each campsite.

  • Water stations are available

  • NO Glass bottles allowed on the campgrounds.


Acceptable forms of ID:

  • Any CANADA government-issued driver’s license/ID containing a photograph & DOB

  • Canadian or foreign government-issued passport containing a photograph & DOB

  • Foreign government-issued driver’s license or ID (must be accompanied by color photocopy of passport)

  • An enhanced driver's license will be accepted as 2 pieces of ID)

Directions:
These are directions FROM the Route 6 campgrounds HEADED TO Cavendish Beach Music Festival. The Route 6 campground is 20 kilometers away from the event. Starting from Route 6 campgrounds (4480 Portage Rd, Oyster Bed, PE C1E 0V3, Canada) head southwest on Portage Rd/PE-6 E toward Rustico Rd/PE-7 S, turn right onto PE-6 E, and you’ve made it to 8779 Cavendish Rd, which is the festival location!

Shuttles:
There will be a shuttle to and from the event from the campgrounds, they are NOT included with a camping purchase. They will be available to purchase online closer to festival date.

Tickets:
All tickets purchased through Unity Travel will be picked up at the Unity Travel Will Call, at the front of the Route 6 campgrounds. You can pick up your tickets when you check-in for camping.

CAMPING:
Check-in will be at the Unity Travel Will Call at the front of the Route 6 campgrounds.
Check-in for camping begins on Thursday, July 4, 2019 and check-out is Monday July 8,2019.

Camping Rules:

  • All attendees at the campgrounds must be 19+. Age will be verified on site.

  • Only 1 car per site is allowed.  Additional cars are allowed on property but will be charged $20 per vehicle and they will be placed in a lot nearby.

  • Upon arrival, each member of your group will receive a camping wristband, which will be required for campground entry.

  • Friends you meet at the festival will NOT be permitted to enter the campgrounds with you after the show, unless they have their own camping wristbands.

  • Every vehicle will be searched upon check-in. Note that the more stuff you have in your car, the longer it will take to get through the line. Please help the process move faster by bringing only what you really need.

  • You must travel with only the legal number of people that can fit in your car/truck.

  • All campers must be fully packed and vacating the campgrounds by 11 AM on Tuesday.

General Camping:

Includes:

  • Campsite for up-to 4 people.

  • 1 vehicle camping pass.

General Camping allows for 1 RV/Motorhome/Trailer per campsite. However, there are no electrical hookups available at this time.


Single QUBE Camping

Includes:

  • 1 QUBE Tent

  • Campsite for up-to 3 People.

  • 1 Vehicle Camping Pass.

Double QUBE Camping

Includes:

  • 2 QUBE Tents

  • Campsite for up-to 6 People.

  • 2 Vehicle Camping Passes

Mansion QUBE Camping

Includes:

  • 4 QUBE Tents

  • Campsite for up-to 12 People.

  • 4 Vehicle Camping Passes

*Remember, festival tickets are NOT included with camping packages*


QUBE POLICIES

Upon check-in, you will be asked to place a valid credit card on file for the incidental hold.

Your card will only be charged if:

  • The solar charger is damaged or not returned ($100 fee)

  • The furniture, if purchased, is missing or damaged ($50 fee per item)

  • QUBE tent is damaged (fee depends on damage)

  • QUBE tent is missing ($650 fee)

  • NO SMOKING inside the QUBE, zero exceptions ($250 fine) 

*All QUBES are preassigned. If you want to camp next to your QUBE friends, please send an email to reservations@unity.travel by July 1

*Leaving valuables in the QUBE and unattended is your responsibility. We recommend you bring 4 luggage locks to secure the tent.

  • Propane grills (small tank only)

  • Ice chests/coolers

  • Food and beverages/water

  • Chairs

  • CamelBaks & reusable plastic water bottles

  • Non-professional flash/still cameras and hand-held video cameras (e.g., Sony Action Cam, GoPro)

  • Lighters and sealed packs of cigarettes

  • Earplugs

  • Sunscreen

  • Sealed lip balm/gloss

  • Makeup and sealed/wrapped tampons

  • Sealed packs of gum

  • Glowing/illuminated costumes or jewelry

  • Hula hoops (especially LED hoops!)

  • Totems/decorated pool noodles (see below for guidelines)

  • Inflatables (deflated upon entry)

  • Flags/banners or handmade signs (no corporate or company-branded ones)

  • Non-amplified (acoustic) musical instruments

  • Liquor, beer, and wine will be limited to (per person): CANS ONLY, NO GLASS BOTTLES One(1) case of 24 Beer OR One(1) 26oz Bottle of Spirits OR Two(2) 750ml Bottles of Wine

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Drugs or drug paraphernalia

  • Loose pills without a prescription, or expired medications of any kind (all medications, prescription or otherwise, must be in their original container)

  • Hookahs

  • Pets (except service animals)

  • LED gloves or LED Microlights used for light shows

  • Glass bottles (small bottles of perfume/cologne are OK)

  • Mirrors

  • Spray paint

  • Promotional flyers, promotional/corporate branded banners, or vehicles displaying sponsorships or ads

  • Weapons of any kind (includes pocket knives, pepper spray, etc.)

  • Professional recording equipment—photo, video or audio (detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial use rigs)

  • Fireworks

  • Golf carts, dune buggies, off-road motorcycles, Segways, etc. (bicycles OK)

  • Large speaker systems

  • Air horns

  • Unauthorized vending of food or merchandise, including alcohol

  • Gas generators (solar-powered generators OK)


CAMPING CODE OF CONDUCT

Campers are expected to be courteous to one another, as well as to event staff. The campgrounds are shared space, and these are your neighbors for the next five days! Please do your part in making this an incredible weekend for everyone. If a guest participating in any of the following behavior is uncooperative or a persistent offender, ALL members of the camping party will be removed from the festival site. In certain situations, the offender may be arrested.


By purchasing a camping ticket, you agree to adhere to the following code of conduct:

- All campers must be 19 or older, verified by government-issued ID.

- All campers must have a festival weekend pass (minimum 3-day).

- All campers must wear their camping wristband (acquired at the camping car check-in).

- Only registered campers are allowed in the camping areas 24/7.

- Campers consuming alcohol must be 19 or older, verified by government-issued ID, which may be randomly checked at any time.

- Pets are not permitted.

- Only 1 car per camping package is allowed. (if explicitly included in your package)

- All campers must be packed and vacated from the campground by 11 am on Monday.

- Quiet time will be enforced from 12am–8am. Please respect your fellow campers!

- Please DO NOT show up earlier than told, as staff will not be prepared to admit you into the campground.

- Prohibited items confiscated at entry or during the event will NOT be returned.

- Security and police will be present 24/7.


The following actions may result in a WARNING and/or EJECTION from the campgrounds:

- Irresponsible use of alcohol (Including use of glass bottles)

- Public nudity or lewd behavior

- Accessing restricted areas without proper passes

- Taunting, bullying, abusive/disruptive language and or obscene gestures

- Parking or extending any part of RV or tent into fire lanes or outside designated/marked area

Littering

- Playing music during enforced quiet hours

- Failing to cooperate/comply with campground safety officers


The following actions will result in IMMEDIATE EJECTION:

- Relieving your bladder or bowels anywhere other than approved restrooms/porta-potties

- Fighting or engaging in any action that may harm, endanger, threaten or bring discomfort to anyone.

- Public sexual behavior

- Possession/use of illegal drugs

- Damage, destruction, vandalism or theft of any property.
